In celebration of History Week and the momentous occasions it represents, our latest platform providing Library members with quality ebooks and audiobooks – indyreads – has made an apt collection of over 100 historical titles. Check it out here!
Visit your local branch to find more historical titles in person.
In case you missed it…
Temporarily, and at least until the end of the year, the Library has gained at-home access for our members to a reputable Family History resource. Ordinarily, access to Ancestry® Library Edition, which delivers billions of records in census data, vital records, directories, photos, and more from countries all over the world, would need to be undertaken within a branch Library building.
Have a read through these simple instructions, then use the catalogue link provided to get started, without having to leave home:
- Visit the catalogue (by clicking the link), or select “Collections” from the home page of the Library website.
- From here, we recommend logging in to your Library account before selecting the Ancestry.com link (alternatively, you will be prompted to login to your Library account upon clicking the Ancestry.com link and will then be redirected to the home page of the catalogue). Your Borrower ID is located under the barcode on the reverse side of your library card.
